Chicago bloodbath update.
It was a busy weekend for the boys of summer. In an 18 hour span, 30 people were shot, three fatally, one outside of a hospital. C.P.D. also shot and killed an 18 year old at 3:10 in an alley during a traffic stop. He was armed with a handgun and didn't put it down. A 58 year old community activist was among the dead

I have jury duty this thursday. I'll be sure to let you all know the joys of what I could be impaneled with.

In my day, most defense lawyers would tell their clients, if your guilty and the D.A. won't bargain, go for a jury trial. I can't tell you how blind they can be

I got nailed twice this year for jury duty and both times got disqualified on the questionnaire... I know I stated they needed 12 kangaroos to get the outcome this judge wanted in both trials...
 
My services as a juror were not required. I'll update yall next time when it becomes pertinent to the thread.
