Vegas gave up 2025 1st and the player they selected in the 1st round of 2023 for a 30 year old 2nd line Center signed through 2030.

Seems like a lot to me.

I really hate to see sh*t like this get published, especially when it didn’t come to fruition. You know Rittich and Talbot will have heard about it, and one can only hazard a guess as to what it does for their mentality. For what it’s worth, I’m more confident with this tandem than I was with the Quick/Copley tandem for the previous two playoff series.

We'll never know the parameters so it is hard to evaluate. I heard from a buddy (who admittedly knows jack squat just like the rest of us) that Dubois was rumored to be in the deal.

If we traded PLD for Ullmark, I might be very excited. It would depend upon the other pieces. Just saying "Ullmark almost was a King", with no mention of what is going the other way, is useless.

I may be in the minority, but I am ok with the Kings not doing anything. I really wanted to improve our net and perhaps D, but our hands are tied because they would have had to move a contract. If they somehow get to their October/November form between now and then, we will be ok.

I mean we won't be ok. But whatever, fire Blake and what not.

Yep, the rumor it was the Kings and PLD came from some butthead on Twitter that just posts nonsense stuff. Could not be further from a reliable source.

I say bull sh*t on a the rumored trade for Ullmark. First of all, Talbot's numbers are better. Second, Boston would want a roster player and why would Blake make the team worse for a worse goalie. League fans are praising Quick for being great for the Rangers yet Talbots Sv% and GAA are identical. 3rd, if Ullmark nixed a trade that would have been known long before the deadline.
