Until I break down the individual fights, here's the brawl description: It all starts when Andre Roy is left behind the play with Felix Potvin, and Roy is kinda tripped by Felix and he gets the gloves up in Potvins face, and pushes him in the face. Potvin then comes back with 2 punches, and then the calvary comes in. Lappy soon entangles himself with Roy. Herperger takes on Modry. Then you see Neil pounding on Eloranta. Mair, seeing the mismatch, comes off the bench to get himself involved with Neil (hello 10-game suspension). Seeing what is going on (Mair making the Sens shorthanded), Hurme comes to jump in and meets Potvin at center ice. Potvin starts by getting the Sens goalie's helmet off. He throws some punches, nothing really landed. They are now by the Sens bench and Hurme can't get his blocker off, so he sticks it into the bench and his teammates take it off for him (that's teamwork baby!). They throw a couple more nothing punches until Potvin throws a haymaker, but misses. They are now broken up, and the brawl is over. Other Penalties: Both players received leaving the crease penalties and game misconducts.

Tkachuk thrives on this attention. If he didn't love this crap, don't you think he would've stopped long ago? Going after him only gives him what he wants.
Look at his fight card. He fights notorious tough guys like...<checks notes>...Corey Perry and John Klingberg. He's not going to "answer the bell" in January.
The way this team is playing, they don't need to get sucked into these shenanigans when every point is going to matter going into the post season.

2 game suspension is totally acceptable by Tkachuk’s standards. He’ll sacrifice 2 if he gets to push the envelope that hard. Until Marchand matured he’d take suspensions from time to time because of the rep it built for him on the ice. It sent a message to every team that he didn’t care about being punished and they couldn’t know what to expect. When suspensions are this toothless they become a feature for these guys, not a bug.
I’m always completely against calling for dirty play against an opponent, but yeah I’m liking that Belfour gif. It’s up to the players now.

An "Eddie Belfour NutShot" would be acceptable retribution as well.
Eddie was a little 'touched'. Helluva goalie.

How is Pepe going to get him when he turtles just like Courtnall years ago when OD went after him? He is and always will be a pos dirty player! Should of gotten more!
