In general Kings keep the puck on their sticks too long. Doughty and Fiala are the 2 worst offenders, but I see the trend affecting many others. It was really apparent in Colorado dealing with all that speed.
 
End of 2nd period. The Kings finally broke through with a goal by Ferry. Otherwise, the period was similar to the first with neither team giving an inch. And this feels similar to the Preds game last time, but at least the Kings get something good in the 2nd period this time. Well, the Kings have 20 more minutes left to try and protect their lead. Hopefully, the Kings will score some insurance goals.
 
Despite not shooting on that PK breakaway, Kooi had some great defensive plays in that period.
 
Oh my goodness, Kopi. That was an ugly turnover. And now Toronto scored an SHG, tying the game 1-1. That was on you, el Capitan; you rarely make such mistakes like that.
 
LA is challenging the play for Matthews playing the puck with a high-stick.

Damn it, the call stands. And now LA's PP is negated for losing the challenge.
