What are you reading? What was the last book you enjoyed?

Just finished ?The Vanished Man? by Jeffery Deaver
this time Lincoln and Amelia are after deranged magician/illusionist who uses famous illusionist tricks to kill and to mislead the police.
overall enjoyable but not as good as ?The Stone Monkey?.

P.S for the next book Amelia camaro is going to be red (I am not going to like that).

Finished Ringwolrd

now it's time for...

I picked up The Secret Life of Bees over the weekend and am halfway through. Excellent book so far -- has anyone read it?

Canuck, thanks for the tip on Lucky. The Lovely Bones was one of the most moving novels I have read in a while, so I will be picking Lucky up next.

Also, David Sedaris is hilARious. I love "Me Talk Pretty One Day."

Sorry, I'm a little late to this thread and had to catch up! :)

Started and finished over the long weekend,
Kristen Britain's
"Green Rider" and "First Rider's Call"
Jennifer Wingert's
"Grasp the Stars"

started,
Donald Kingsbury's
"Psychohistorical Crisis"

All of the ones you mention - I have read.

The Secret Life of Bees is just a wonderful, wonderful book.

Me Talk Pretty One Day was my first Sedaris book. You will also love Naked as well.

Lucky touched me even more than The Lovely Bones. Lucky is a true story - chilling.

Once you're done with these, if you haven't already, try "Memoirs of a Geisha".
