long out of print, it was just re-issued last month... i picked it up last night. i have raved about this book for so many years as one of the best horror novels i've ever read.

now i'm going to read it again before i pass it along to everyone i had pimped it to, just to see if it still f***s with me like it did about 20-years ago.

if you've never read any Dan Simmons, i suggest you do.

... and apparently, the movie rights have been sold.

A captivating collection of speculative short stories about India in 2047.

I'm borrowing this from Adg. I usually like to read the source material first before I see the movie based on it.

I am halfway through this right now.

It is really fascinating about the interplay between a town's population a situation like this would bring out. Still waiting for (and wondering if) Stehen King monsters to show up.

Some of my cohorts don't want to teach Orwell 'cause they don't like his ideas. STFU!

Orwell is like the awesome! The dolphin has spoken.

You guys should read his essays!

I'm really liking his style and ideas. I'll check out his essays and everything else. Thanks for recommendation. I'm officially an Orwell nut .:Dancing_mad:

It's amazing that both these books written around the same time are so spot on to the way society is moving towards.
