I read "A Confederacy of Dunces" and I agree, it is good. It annoyed me a bit, but then it got me questioning, "What about this character is annoying me?" That opened up a whole 'nother can of worms
Great book!
The last book I read that I truly enjoyed was "Water for Elephants". Something about circuses and the 1930's, it just get's my vote every time. Also, I loved how it told the story through the memory of an old man, stuck in a convalescent home, reminiscing about his past. It read so well, and was so thoroughly researched. I truly appreciated this book, and enjoyed in immensely. I actually got book apathy (when you finish reading a story, and you feel lost because the tale is over) after this one
