What are you reading? What was the last book you enjoyed?

Great book! After reading game of thrones this book was a breath of fresh air (Not that the game of throne books were bad by any means). It is kind of a stand alone story that takes place after the First law trilogy. It was fast paced, violent and had some very creative writing.

I began reading "The Sword of Truth" Series by Terry Goodkind in September.

I just started The Pillars of Creation. I began this series because I left the book I was reading at home and picked up Wizard's First Rule in a bookshop at the airport. His writing is not too complex but he still spins a good tale. Apparently there was a short lived series based on these books called The Legend of the Seeker. It ran for two seasons before it was killed.

Its a good series but it gets repetative in the last few books. When he kicks the little princess in the face and breaks her jaw was one of my favorite scenes in a book. As for the tv show it was beyond horrible.

I just started this book the other day. After reading Best Served Cold, I was a little down on Abercrombie, so The Heroes sat on my shelf for a few months. I am about a hundred pages in now, and it has been a terrific read.

Holee xst. On Storm of Swords. Man, they are gonna have such a hard time keeping up with these. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE the Onion Knight. Just amazed at the depth of this series. So damned good. Such a rich world populated by so many great characters and it's kept so real by the axe hanging over EVERYONE.

First in a five book series involving conflict between Earth, Mars, and the Belt(colonizers of various asteroids, moons throughout the solar system). Great read! I am looking forward to the next book Caliban's War, due out in June.

Just finished The Hunger Games. Really good. Glad I finally finished a book before the movie comes-out. :)

Just finished Jack Falla's Home Ice. Its a really quick read and I enjoyed it. Very likeable crotchety old mannish story telling. Now that the books back in print it's easy enough to pick up.

Finally got around to buying and reading this. Disappointed but not greatly. Too much mundane writing about family members history. The writing itself wasn't anything outstanding either. I don't know if that is the fault of the translator or Larsson.

Very much enjoyed the sections on Blomqvist and Salander. Larsson did a great job on their creation and evolution.

Just got The Girl Who Played with Fire....so, yes, I plan on reading all three.

You piqued my interest so i went and bought the two witcher books. I just finished the first one. I liked it and I'm looking forward to reading the next one. It was a pretty fast read.

he really has a way with conversation that is very very believable. the opening chapter in this book is something like 50 pages but ends up being dandelion finishing a concert and all the people watching trying to determine what the songs are about and it just goes on and on from Geralt to racism and politics. but i loved the witcher video games. the witcher 1 is probably my favorite game ever.

you just have to remember that (at least the 1st book) is a collection of short stories made for a sci-fi magizine in poland. so some of the stories are non-sequential or just random. and there is a polish version of a 2nd book which is not published in the US, and this book is supposed to be the 3rd in his works.

Just got done with the second book in Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan series: Behemoth.

This series is just plain alternate-history, steam/bio punk fun.
