Very interesting man

Just read The Third Man by Graham Greene yesterday. Am in the middle of Buster Keaton: Tempest in a Flat Hat by Edward McPherson.

Currently reading:

Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky

So far, it has been extremely interesting.

Brillat-Savarin: "The Physiology of Taste"

M.F.K. Fisher: "The Art of Eating"

Anthony Bourdain: "A Cooks Tour"

Highly recommend all of these for the aspiring foodie/chowhound/gourmand.

Also: Charles Bukowski: "Hot Water Music". His poetry is beautiful, but, his short stories are about as profane and rude as it comes. I friggin love it.

"Objective Assessment of Manual Skills and Proficiency in Performing Epidural Anesthesia - Video-Assisted Validation" in Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine 2006 Volume 31 by Friedman, et al.

Bob Miller's Tales of the Los Angeles Kings!

This is a pretty quick read though so I will be moving on shortly to the newest James Patterson.

Guns, Germs, and Steel (Jared Diamond)

Fuzzy Thinking (Bart Kosko)

Database Design textbook

Oracle + SQL textbook

Operating Systems Design & Implementation

Understanding The Linux Kernel

some variety eh
