***Winnipeg Jets vs. LA Kings GDT 4/1/25 7:30pm on FanDuel***

Juice finishes off Winnipeg with the ENG. Bye bye Winnipeg, we swept you. So much for being the best team in the Western Conference when you couldn't win a meaningful game against LA this season.

And the game is over. Much needed win for LA tonight, especially after Vegas dropped their game to Deadmonton in regulation earlier. LA sweeps Winnipeg this season for what looks to be the first time in franchise history if I'm not mistaken. LA's still in second place for now. And now for the Kings to fly to Utah to face off against the Whatevers for the last time this season and hopefully LA will add them to the list of being the latest team to be swept.

I'm really gonna miss Nick. All these years we've been so lucky to have him announcing games. After Faust hit the bricks, it's been a real pleasure hearing him on the TV broadcasts. I had nothing against Alex (Theasaurus Rex!), but with Nick doing the play-by-play, even Fox has been much better. They work well together. Two real pros.

In my opinion, Nick belongs right up there with Dick Enberg, Chick Hearn, Vin Scully and Bob Miller. Los Angeles sports fans have been very spoiled over the past few decades, because there guys were the best. Looking forward to the ceremony tonight.

But if Foxy doesn't come back next season, it's gonna be kinda weird. It just won't sound like Kings hockey. Please come back Jim!

I'm so bummed Nick's calling it quits, but good for him. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

How did they do this? 6 games in 9 days. They looked fresh as a daisy out there.
Having most of those games at home helped a lot, I'm sure.
