"Maximum Thrust Blossom"

From the roll of Ilford HP5+ 400 I shot through the F3 body with a Nikkor AI-S 50mm f/1.2 lens at f/8 and 1/500th.

Development/Scanning by State Film Lab, who I’m not pleased with, quality-wise.

"Sunroom Snoozer"

Another frame form that roll of Ilford HP5+. Nikon F3 with Nikkor AI-S 50mm f/1.2 at f/4 and 1/1000th.

This one had a significant development artifact in it, a “bubble” of puddled chemicals formed a ring around his right ear that I was able to somewhat correct using generative healing in Lightroom.

This roll of 36 exposures developed by State Film Lab had at least a dozen images with similar issues.

I think I’ve found a tripod head I actually like. Sirui K-30X combined with their TY-70X quick release plates. Absolutely rock-solid! Out goes the Manfrotto 322RC2 Grip Ball Head that always flopped because it couldn’t hold the weight of the D3 and this 70-200 f/2.8.

finally finished scanning last year's Mexico trip photos... but now I gotta work on this year's trip haha

here's just a couple I really really liked

I need to pick out some pics for the Simi Valley Art Association's yearly art contest. Unfortunately, they need to be 2019 or newer and I haven't been out taking pictures since the lock down. I need to get out there and get some new content.

A re-process of a shot from one of the 2008 Photo Challenges. "Glenn Visits the Bong Factory."

Worked the LAX Picket yesterday for the Southwest Airlines Pilot's Association. Almost 300 Pilots on the picket line that stretched from the eastern-most end of Terminal One all the way to the end of Terminal 2.

My normal job on the union’s Strike Committee is organizing and executing events like this. This time I wore two hats, being both a Picket Captain for the Strike Committee and a photographer for the Communications Committee.

That day we had almost 1,500 Pilots picketing at five Pilot domiciles across the country (ATL, BWI, HOU, LAX, and MDW), so we were spread really thin, leadership-wise.

I’m kind of fond of the “Kodak One Time Use”, disposable camera!
I have 3 more pictures to take, and then I can turn it in to be developed! I can’t wait to see the pics I took of the Van Halen concert in 1989! That concert was soooo bitchin’!
