I think John Oliver said it best: Fifa loves a dictatorship and he's as conflicted as we all are ...So...making a s*** ton of money but not investing anything in infrastructure (roof over the stadium stands)?
Yeah, typical.
If I understand irony correctly (and I do not) you've just increased your chances of seeing Argentina v. Croatia or some such sh*t but turn it down based on principle.Always follow the rules for going to the Rose Bowl for any event:
DON'T GO!!!!!
No, seriously....don't go.
The place is old. The sightlines are bad as you sit so far back and away from anything.
Parking is a nightmare. Getting in and out is a nightmare. The concessions and amenities are so outdated even the Amish would think they were in the stone age somehow.
Don't be tempted by your favorite team or music artist/band.
The Rose Bowl is not worth your time and $$$
Pretty amazed Blues won it all.Hurray!??? PSG just rolling over everyone.
Yea, I'm glad we don't get to see this cash grab tournament for a while.
Same reason Trump wouldn’t leave for the trophy lifting?Weird that the US national anthem was played before the match. Why?.
I didn't see the trophy lift till later yesterday evening. lolSame reason Trump wouldn’t leave for the trophy lifting?
Chelsea punched them in the mouth and PSG didn’t know how to react.
Cole Palmer's reaction was pretty funny "what is he doing"I didn't see the trophy lift till later yesterday evening. lol
What's with that dude, he just stood there like a deer in the headlights not know where to go or what was going to happen. Infantino pointed and gestured to him a couple of times for him to walk off stage with him...and he just stood there dazed. Odd.
Chelsea be like WTF......
I also liked the irony of the man in the red hat being engulfed by the celebrating Blues.Cole Palmer's reaction was pretty funny "what is he doing"
I went to that game too .I went to PSG vs Atletico Madrid. It was hot AF and they wouldn't let anyone bring in water bottles even though the website (from the FIFA FAQ link) specified what water bottles were legal to bring in. My guess was that FIFA wanted to make money selling water to everyone.
Anyhow, it was a major sh*t show (got to see parents rush their daughter having heat stroke down to the concourse and saw the paramedics take her away later when we were in line to get water) and I'll never attend another daytime soccer game at the Rose Bowl. FWIW, I'm not the only one who feels that way:
