Jeffrey Dean Morgan cast as Negan on The Walking Dead

Oh hellz...whut? My long standing man crush of JDM is well documented in these parts. That must mean that Garret Dillahunt is Dwight? Oh **** me sideways. I am so happy for JDM. That's a juicy juicy part and he deserves it. Not to mention it's a damned good choice. I thought Dillahunt would have been terrific too, but JDM!!!!!

Oh man this is going to rock ... he is very definitely Andrew Lincoln's Rick equal ... this is going to be very interesting ..

Imagine, with that casting, if AMC/Kirkman had been really brave and made the sister show about the rise of the Saviors. We have already seen what happens in the zombie apocalypse when normal folks are (mostly) forged by circumstances into becoming reluctant heroes. What if they had ran a season or two showing what happens when things 'break bad' so to speak and people choose to become villains instead? It's a tough sell, because you don't have your typical 'likable' types, but I think JDM and Dillahunt could have brought some sympaties to their characters. And it ain't like anyone loves any of the FTWD characters all that much. Hell, they could have even used the second show as an anthology type show. Imagine the possibilities. Sigh.

AMC has neither the foresight nor the huevos ranchero for this kind of thinking ...

Finally watched TWD last night. The sewer zombies were magnificent. Very curious as to what is going on in Deanna's head. The way they are telling the story, by shifting out and making you wait every other episode is frustrating...but terrific. In today's instant gratification spoiler culture...it's great to experience some actual cliff hanging.

Sasha + Abraham was totally out of left field and I kinda dig it???

And was that Glenn saying "help" on the walkie talkie at the end or someone else? I've only watched it once and wasn't able to catch the voice all that well.

I think that's what they want people to think. I think it was the blonde guy that took Daryl's Bike and equipment. Just my opinion tho.

This is from an interview on Yahoo with Norm Reedus

That voice on the radio when Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are driving back to Alexandria in the truck: You know who we all want that to be…
Not Glenn. The only thing I’ll say is that it’s not Glenn.

I agree with you. The question then becomes real help or trap.

With the emergence of Wade that means someone will be appearing soon. But probably not till the end of this season me thinks.
