All Things:Fx

Yeah, I was impressed by that part of the article too. I truly hope that Vince Gilligan, when Breaking Bad is done, develops something for Fx. I honestly think that you are going to see a rapid decline in AMC's product simply because Fx is starting multiple networks and they will need MORE content. Landegraf has a sterling reputation as a friend of the showrunner and there is a LOT of major talent heading to, in my mind, the model that all others should emulate. They do not have the massive numbers that Walking Dead draws, but they have ridiculous quality even with 3 times the content.

FX Developing 1950s Hollywood Drama From Author James Ellroy

FX has bought a drama pitch from L.A. Confidential author James Ellroy and producers Joe Roth and Clark Peterson. Based on Ellroy’s 2012 novella Shakedown, the project is set in the tabloid world and underbelly of Los Angeles circa the late 1950s and centers on the city’s top informant/operator/wire tapper/fixer, Fred Otash, who lives and works where the glamour and the grime intersect. A fictionalized version of legendary Hollywood vice cop-turned-private eye Otash, who exposed the sins of the rich and famous in the 1950s magazine Confidential, also appeared in Ellroy’s novels The Cold Six Thousand and Blood’s a Rover.

THE AMERICANS Season 1 Episode 12 Recap | Collider

Interesting turn last night. Tell you one thing, the makers of this show are NOT afraid to make you dislike the major players. I thought what they did to Martha was horrible. But they see it as duty. The stuff at the end, at the wedding was a little on the nose. Very hard to see where this show is going...and thats not a bad thing.

Wow, the finale' for The Americans really highlighted the problems that show faces. How long can they go till someone faces consequences. The tight getaways make for entertaining tv, but at some point it becomes 'looks like them Duke Boys are in a lot of hot water...oh wait, no they aren't.' Still good, and they introduced some nice developments for s2...but they are really going to have to get inventive to keep from blowing their credibility.

I need to have myself tested for autism(clearly, no disrespect to autism or those with an autistic child). I still find Anger Management entertaining despite it's cliche characters, terrible acting, stilted dialogue and direction...among other things. I don't rush to watch, but I do sit there for 20 some odd minutes and pay attention.

I just found out that Lacey is Ryan Millers wife.

Watch: Trailer For Gerardo Naranjo-Directed FX Series 'The Bridge' With Demian Bichir & Diane Kruger | The Playlist

a police procedural featuring the police of two different countries working on the same case, after a body turns up at a Texan border crossing between the US and Mexico. In the original it was Denmark and Sweden, but really this version seems to offer more: murderous drug cartels, lawless shanty towns and yawning wealth gaps are easier to come by in Juarez than in Copenhagen (probably).
On top of that, "The Bridge" has Demi?n Bichir, Oscar-nominated last year for “A Better Life” (also about life and crime on both sides of the Rio Grande, but what's a Mexican actor to do?) and Diane Kruger playing the lead American cop. If you happen to be a hardcore “West Wing” fan, it also has Diana-Maria Riva and Annabeth Gish, but the rest of you aren't expected to know who they are, so don't worry. Gerardo Naranjo, behind the excellent "Miss Bala," also directed the pilot, so that's also a good sign.

This looks AWESOME.
