Thought the s2 premiere was pretty solid, if overlong. The prologue by GDT was lovely, as his work usually is. They said at the SDCC panel that it was gonna veer from the books, and that's fine because the source material is thin and a little cliche'd. The jury seems divided on this show...you either are in, or very very not in. I'm gonna keep watching unless it goes off the rails completely.

I'm still in. Although they seemed to have stretched the plot quite a bit (vampire wife can say son's name but isn't really in total control?). The taking of the kids was disturbing.

Yeah, I had forgotten about that from the books. Handled extremely creepily...reminded me of this really off the map cult horror flick The Children.

Not getting the greatest reviews...I loved Rescue Me, and liked The Job, this looks like uncomfortable douche chill kinda fun. We'll see how it goes. He's been a fireman who plays hockey, a cop, a rock star...if this fails he can always make a show about the oldest center fielder for the Sox and his wish fulfillment cycle will be complete.
