All Things:Fx

Season 2 Premier of Fargo was unbelievably outstanding! Might've been the best first episode of a series I've ever seen.
Ok then.........

I didn't watch much of the first season of Fargo. *shrugs* Well, I decided to try it this season (better late than never) and enjoyed the premiere. I'll be following it to see where it goes. ;)

Seriously, no reaction to the Premiere of A/H/S:HOTEL? Trying not to get too far ahead because this show always starts strong then fades out...but that was something. And Fx must be slipping the censors a little extra something because that episode was Skinemax lite.

Uh episode 2 was right along with it.

This so far is waaay creepier than Freak Show was. and more gory.

I don't think lady gaga is the best actress, but she sure ain't afraid to show skin and go for it.

That scene with the girl's teeth falling out, geez I even had to look away. That just does me in.

Yeah, the teeth...stuff of nightmares. Sarah Paulson is killing it with her 'stolen from Blade Runner Darryl Hannah' looks and character. And Dennis O'Hare is terrific too as Cleopatra.
Funny, it's the bloodiest and most sexual the show has ever been...and yet, as far as storytelling it one of the more subtle sells that really seems intent on actually telling a story this time instead of sketching out some high concept idea and rolling with it. We will see how they maintain it, because I don't think any(well, maybe Asylum) crossed the finish line as strong as it started.
And I think that Jessica Lange taking a season off was good for the show. She overwhelmed a bit.
As far as Lady Gaga...I grow more impressed with her all the time. certainly not a great actress, but within the confines of what she is being asked to do...well, the lady seems to know her limitations.

Parents Television Council Called ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ The ‘Most Vile’ Show In TV History

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, yeah. Kinda the point. No, really...it would be near impossible to argue. I honestly believe that Ryan Murphy and company are trying to see just how far they can go. First episode had a fairly graphic butt rape driller killer segment along with rampant drug use, very nsfw sex scenes, etc.
Hell, they will probably use the complaint in their press clippings/emmy submissions.

That's good press for AHS!

Read a great review about just how good the slowly increasing dread is on Fargo (sorry I cannot find it to link). And they couldn't have been more right. So good. The music has been terrific too. All around great acting. It's gonna build up to ridiculous levels before the balloon POPS towards the end. Who knew that the source material could give birth to such terrific follow up work.

Bastard Executioner changed things up a little the other night. Starting to be able to watch without the distraction of KNOWING it's a Sutter show. Still a little formulaic, and the fighting scenes are a bore...but it's developing nicely.

I haven't seen A/H/S:HOTEL,
I have been busy, lol, but I like Lady Gaga!

Sue me! :P

But....

That Fargo series is something else...

I am so excited and love that I have FX...

So knowing Sutter's formula, is it going to the the Frenchy or the Chamberlain that dies in the season finale?

Can't be Vampire Bill. He is the best part of the show...Little Lammy...ewwwwwwwwwwwww. If I had to guess, either the Healer or Wilken's Marshall/Friend/Right hand man.
