All Things:Fx

I couldn't stop worrying about the duck. Don't you think it was a little bit manipulative? Also, I always love Louie's character and look at him as kind of a grown up Charlie Brown, but when he was talking to that 18 year old cheerleader it was a little bit icky.

You mean a grown up Charlie Brown that needs to be put out of his miserable life?? :D

Manoman...this gets me tearing up from the start. Not gonna make it through tonights finale'. Damn you East coast feeds. I get to see this early.

was reading in Entertainment Weekly that the stars were a little offput by the sexual perversity expressed in the scripts. Some of the things I recall were a major character having a fetish with men in rubber suits(clearly, from the ads), and another being watched whilst frapping by a burned man. Like I said, before Glee, Ryan Murphy was the mad genius behind Nip/Tuck which was pretty much a soap opera wrapped in kink and horror. This should be Southern Gothic oddness with a lot of icky bits that I have no doubt Fx will allow him to push as far as TV will allow and then some. Looking very forward to this...even if it's bad it will be some good fun.

Rescue me finale...

SPOILERS

A little sweet, a little sad...with some terrific laughs at really inappropriate times. It ended in character. Rest in peace Lou...we're gonna miss ya!

I enjoyed the "Rescue Me" finale. The whole fiasco with Lou's ashes was so perfect as well as Lou's letter. All in all very well done in my opinion and glad they gave Tommy some closure on "not finding solace in the bottom of the bottle." I did enjoy his daydream of chopping up Lou's office though.

I can honestly tell you that the first episode(which we were lucky enough to see at SDCC) was so funny, so full of quick shots, that we missed some of the jokes cause tha audience was laughing so hard. Like season 2 was a tremendous improvement over a fantastic season 1, I fully expect season 3 to be even more ridiculously over ther top...hey Kingsqueen, SPLOOSH!!!! Bwah-hah-ha...you guys'll get it when you see the episode. Guarantee this is MUST WATCH!!!!

FX Orders 'Unsupervised' Animated Series | CraveOnline

For the last two seasons, "Archer" has been the lone animated series on FX. But when it returns in January for a third season, it won't be alone any longer.

FX has officially ordered a thirteen episode season for "Unsupervised," a new animated comedy from Rob Rosell, Scott Marder and David Hornsby; all of whom write and produce FX's signature comedy series "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia." The series follows two best friends, Gary and Joel as they optimistically face the rigors of teenage life without any parents around to tell them what to do.

"Unsupervised" also boasts an impressive cast, with Justin Long, Kristen Bell, Romany Malco, Fred Armisen, Kaitlin Olson and Alexa Vega all on board to provide vocals for the show.

“Having worked with David, Rob and Scott for many years on Sunny, it gives us great pleasure to see them make their own stamp on FX,” said Nick Grad, FX's Vice President of Original Series. “Unsupervised is a great addition to our comedy roster and, like all of our comedies, it’s smart and really funny.”

"Archer" Executive Producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson will oversee the animation of "Unsupervised," while Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton's "RCG Productions and Floyd County will produce the series alongside FX.

With the latest pickup of "Unsupervised," FX will now have six comedies in its lineup of original programming including "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia," "Archer," "The League," "Wilfred" and "Louie."

Thus far, no art work from the new series was released, but with "Unsupervised" set to debut in four months, that should change quickly.

'It's Always Sunny' returns tonight! | PopWatch | EW.com

Still, things are about to go worse. (And, by that, I mean better.) How so? Well, let’s just say that in tonight’s season premiere, Frank (Danny DeVito) proposes to the most horrifying prostitute you’ve ever laid eyes and ears on. And that’s just the beginning: Other upcoming episodes a disturbing Jersey Shore parody, as well as a very sketchy kiddie pageant. (While Sunny occasionally veers into topical territory (“The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis”), the timing of that latter episode couldn’t be better, what with all the recent Toddlers & Tiaras uproar.)

But, it gets even worse, guys! Yes, worse! Those aforementioned episodes practically play like an episode of 7th Heaven as compared to next month’s “Sweet Dee Gets Audited,” which could very well be the single sickest episode of the comedy yet. (And that’s considering the fact that a character vomits a massive amount of blood in tonight’s premiere.) At the risk of giving too much away (or making you lose your lunch), I’ll only hint that it involves Dee (where’s Kaitlin Olson‘s Emmy nod, already?!), a baby scam, a bloody cross, a dead dog, and the new-and-”improved” Fat Mac.

No, Sunny still isn’t a show you can watch with your parents (actually, it’s probably best to not even let them know it exists), but between those inspired ads, hilarious posters, and this wickedly offensive new season, the FX cult hit is definitely firing on all cylinders.
