All Things:Fx

The last ep of Fargo had so many songs that it was like a musical, lol. Still, you can't go wrong with Jethro Tull! :punk:

It's such a good show, but it sorta bums me out just because it's darker than night.

Fargo was a let down after last week's tremendous episode. Ed and Peggy are the least sympathetic and most one dimensional characters on the show. Was sorry to see Dodd go. Misogynist, sadist but had a lot of odd charisma. Not sure why Hanzi went off the reservation, so to speak. They better not squeeze in that alien storyline at the end.

Kristen Dunst's character is nuts and all her talk of self-actualization is probably making Abraham Maslow looking down from the afterlife and smiling. :P

Other Fx related stuff...is it just me or have both A/H/S and Fargo(to a lesser extent) cooled considerably after some real high points? I just found myself not caring about the massacre...and they better do some serious integrating of that wtf element(Fargo). I also think Peggy and Ed are just impossible to root for. A/H/S has hit that point where they kinda let off the gass and just tread water on the back end, like they sadly seem to keep doing. Maybe not enough Lady Gaga. But definitely too much singular focus on characters that just aren't that entertaining. Entire subplots have just disappeared for the past 2 weeks. As always, I hope they finish strong...but past experience kinda shows a disturbing pattern.
You're the Worst finale' tonight. You should all really be watching. It's agreat show that tapdances comedy and drama really well.

I stopped caring about AHS about 3-4 weeks ago. Even with the big reveal I'm just over it.

was it really that big of a reveal? I mean, the only one who DIDN'T know he was the killer was him. I was almost hoping they would turn the tables and have that be an enormous red herring instead of the telegraphed plot point from episode 1.

Stop hinting at spoilers, fiends!!! :pssst: mhihi:

Dunno, I am still enjoying Fargo despite the WTF moment toward the end. That series has been so tense that the final ep can end up being anticlimatic after all the build-up. Still, sometimes it's more about the journey than the destination. ;)

I sorta wish they stayed in the '70's for next season.
