All Things:Fx

People vs OJ, considering I lived through it wasnt sure how this was gonna play out. Watched it play out from start to finish. So far this is exactly how I pictured it. From Cochran, to Darden, Clark to Furman. Ep 1 has me wanting more.

That was fascinating. I don't know if it was good or bad...but it was fascinating. It sooooooooooo treads the line between superserious to the point of distraction. The lack of music or really any ambient sounds had me hearing an extremely inappropriate laugh track at the worst possible times(I know someone on the interwebz is gonna recut this). Most of the actors are almost passion play over the top. I never thought David Schwimmer was a good actor, but oooh boy. And I am not sure if Cuba Gooding Jr. is playing it right and OJ was just a strange strange man, or he is in some weird schtick zone...the jury is out(pardon). Sarah Paulson did the one thing Marcia Clark couldn't do in real life. Make her character sympathetic. Not bad work from her. But the highlight...John Travolta. PERFECT. How he manages to be subtle, acting thru that horrible look, with a ton of weird mannerisms, just goes to show that he never gets the credit he deserves. He really is brilliant in this so far.

I was getting a Fox Movie of week vibe from the OJ ep and maybe there's some of that, but considering how much we've heard about this story, the ep made the events interesting and definitely left me wanting more. So I am definitely on board so far.

Besides, I want to find out if OJ is guilty. mhihi:

First off.....

Thanks to everyone here Im now big on IASIP....always funny. And from watching that....Man Seeks Woman is really great as well. Its quirky and unpredictable...and Eric Andre as Mike is the funniest supporting character I have seen in a while. Seriously...that guy is a scene stealer.

Tried watching Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll....but it just seemed way too formulatic for my liking and just too Leary being Leary. Loved Rescue Me....but for some reason this didnt stick. I am tempted to bash tarantino as part of the comparison....but I wont.

First 2 episodes were hard to get thru(sex and drugs), but it picked up nicely heading into the end of the short season.

checked this out yet????

Didn't know if this should be in comedy or FX but "Baskets"!! That show has potential. Louis Anderson as the mom? Perfect! Louis CK has his paws all over this one and it shows.

its hard enough for me to remember LGK names....when I have to remember real Names as well its takes twice as much memory.

That said....Good Morning Sam.

I hope all the jurors are watching as well. They might learn a few things about logic and truth.

Ep 1 was pretty good.
