All Things HORROR

It sucks that almost no one I know is into horror movies and I hate going to the theater by myself. Guess I'll have to wait until these movies come to DVD. Either that or I should try looking to date girls that are into horror, the girls I've been going on dates with lately aren't into them either.

Or learn to love going by yourself. I did it!

Yeah...don't be afraid ever to go by yourself. But, the turnaround is pretty good, especially on Horror flicks that usually, if at all, get a limited 1 or 2 week run...so you don't have to wait too long.

I dunno, I'm a social bug and I get depressed going to the theater alone. It's fun watching my friends get scared ****less during the movie. Plus when you go alone you miss out on talking about it with your friends afterward. In general I hate doing things by myself, I always try to do stuff with friends or at least go places where I can meet people.

Not to get heavy, but you need to get past that. It was tough for me but you aren't always going to have folks around. It's very liberating.

my gf still thinks i'm weird cause i go out to eat by myself

hell, i go to kings and clippers games by myself but at least with kings i've had the same seat for so long i've gotten to know most the people around me

Well for me I have no problem waiting for films to come out on DVD. I've got plenty of stuff I want to watch anyway so I can keep myself entertained until they go to video.

Intruders Blu-ray

In July, Millennium Home Entertainment will bring Intruders to Blu-ray. Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later), this supernatural thriller focuses on a terrifying, faceless entity hunting children in two different countries.

From Millennium's official synopsis:

"Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Clive Owen, Children of Men) after Farrow's beloved thirteen-year-old daughter Mia (Ella Purnell, Never Let Me Go) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit; it seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out."

Fresnadillo's film also stars Carice Van Houten (Black Book) and Daniel Br?hl (Inglourious Basterds).

While Millennium has not yet detailed the technical specifications for this Blu-ray, the disc does contain a number of bonus supplements, such as:

Making-of featurette
Inside Look behind-the-scenes featurette

Intruders is expected to street on July 17th.

Been wanting to see this.
