All Things:Reboots, Re-imaginings, and re-USE!!!!

Awesome, Silver Chair was my favorite when I read those books as a kid. Not sure why they stopped with the movies, I thought they made money and studios are all about series they can beat to death and then turn the last book into two movies just for that one extra bit of cash.

I don't know all the comic book characters, but I am pretty sure there has not been a Captain Marvel movie yet. Rocketeer and Captain America 1 were both a ton of fun, and if the fourth best movie featuring Captain America (so far) is that good, someone at that comic book company is doing something right.

There Is Going To Be Another ‘Hellboy’ Movie After All But It Won’t Be ‘Hellboy 3’

Rather than a direct sequel to the two existing films in the series, the reboot will instead be an R-rated project directed by Neil Marshall (best known for movies like The Descent as well as episodes of Game of Thrones, Hannibal, and Westworld) and starring David Harbour from the Netflix hit Stranger Things.

I like Marshall and Harbour...and I like an R Rating, but no Del Toro/Perlman is a serious drag.

The only way a movie like this isn't going to bomb is if they start selling weed at the concessions in cinemas. I couldn't imagine finding that movie too entertaining unless I was high. :P

Baywatch was everything I expected. Craptacular and terrible, and I totally enjoyed it. Dumb humor abound, lots of bouncing boobies, surprising amount of peni, and the cheesy action you'd expect. No spoilers but dude it's a burning boat and you're walking around like it's nothing in between throwing women into the ocean for pickup. Classic!

Mitch and CJ man. Don't even bother with new names.

They could've gone way more overboard then they did. But didn't take itself seriously at all. I thought the cast worked well together. Say what you want, zac efron is surprisingly likeable. The Rock is just the rock. The females would've fit in just right with the tv show. The male sidekick (whose name escapes me) but is CJ's go to was in fine form.

Oh and yes there are cameos and musical homage.

My pops gave it a 5. We're both gonna go hang out at the beach tomorrow.
