All Things: San Diego Comic-Con

JD & KQ, if you happen to go by Terry Moore's table during your time at Con, I would be willing to pay you back if you picked up his new sketchbook for me. Not sure how much it'll run, but I expect it might be in the single digits.

:)

I will put it on the list. Gimme a booth number if you can.

Good News Everyone...George RR Martin is giving up the moderating duties on this year's GoT panel. It's already better than last year.

Nerd HQ ‘Conversations’ Panels To Be Announced July 10

Like everything with San Diego Comic-Con, there’s no rest for the wicked. Having just dealt with the huge wave that was the 2013 Programming Schedule, now comes word that the annual fan-favorite Nerd HQ convention, started two years ago by Chuck star Zachary Levi, will be announcing its schedule of Conversations for a Cause panels on Wednesday, July 10.

Not much has been said this year about the convention, aside from the confirmation it will be movin’ on up to a new location – Petco Park – in 2013. Earlier this year, we speculated how Nerd HQ might use the new digs, and hopefully in just 24 hours we’ll know exactly what they’ll be doing and how they’ll be using the space.

Nerd HQ has been home to some great panels in the past two years, so we’re expecting nothing less in 2013. And we already know Nathan Fillion will be hanging around for something…

We’ll update this post with the panel and event information as it’s announced, so stay tuned to our blog, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ pages.

Excited for a big upgrade at Nerd HQ this year? Let us know in the comments.

CHUCK panel please!!!!!!

7 more days until Comic-Con!!!

Find out What Your Favorite Movie Websites Are Looking forward to at Comic-Con 2013 | Collider

What’s really thrilled us the most for Film School Rejects’ 2013 Comic-Con Coverage is the stuff we can’t predict. The small moments that will never make it into a printed program. The unpredictable collisions between fans and filmmakers. The superhero-suited surprises and ahead-of-schedule footage shocks that make the trek down to San Diego a genuine event. We’ll be poised and ready (but we’re secretly hoping for an in-person appearance from Rocket Raccoon)

And this...is why we go every year. There is always guaranteed to be at least one terrific moment that is fondly remembered for years and years. All the panels, sightings etc. would be for naught if there wasn't those 'you had to be there' moments shared with likeminded folks. And the smells!!!!!! Aw, look at me getting all nostalgic.

And if I don't see the podium guy who looks like Johnny Depp meets the Sabotage video I am gonna be disapponted.

If anyone @ SDCC is/will be standing in the Hasbro line and can get me an extra Metroplex ($150) or Shockwave's Lab ($50) or G.I. Joe/Transformers Skystriker/V.A.M.P set ($100), please ping me. You may know I am in Calgary, but I am down in LA a lot, so I can either pick-up or pay for shipping. :)

Okay, my son is addicted to the Lego Mini Figures. If anyone here can pick me up like 2 if possible, I would be very happy to compensate them for their efforts (read over priced beers at Staples or if Adgy-Multiple McFlurries) along with the price of the mini figs. I know last year they had the special edition super heroes released, but I do not know what they are for this year. Thanks to all the cool people who could get badges

6 more days until Comic-Con!!!

Another perennial JD mentioned, was the more "fuller sized" Wonder Woman, so...
