All Things: San Diego Comic-Con

Getting an idea of what will be in Hall H on Sunday. Looks like American Horror Story/Scream Queens will be in there and so will Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (with a screening).

Oddly though, the American Horror Story and Scream Queens one is a joint panel and Q&A.

American Horror Story/Scream Queens (Hall H, 12:30PM-1:30PM). In a joint panel, the stars of Fox’s upcoming horror comedy anthology Scream Queens will join American Horror Story: Freak Show/Hotel. Expected to Appear: Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Skyler Samuels and Keke Palmer; Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Matt Bomer for a joint Q&A.

Not surprised...both are Ryan Murphy productions. I think FOX is hoping to link the two so that Scream Queens maybe piggybacks on AHS.

Well, it's more that it's going to be both panels at the same time that seemed odd to me. Not one followed by the other. Could be interesting though based on expected attendees.

Also, looks like The Strain is going to be on Saturday. Ballroom 20 I guess? Indigo? Curious choice there too.

Looks like that means Kevin Smith in there on Friday night again...which means a lot of watching twitter for lines outside. Ugh. Was hoping we'd get him on Saturday again.

Yeah, I think that is a given from now on. I'm not sure Hall H line is gonna be all that. No Marvel. The wild card is whether Star Wars comes with ANYTHING.

You don't think people will be pushing to get in for DoJ and Suicide Squad though? I mean, I certainly hope it isn't crazy, but it just feels like that's the situation these days.

Also, Simpsons in B20 on Saturday at noon. They've been missing for a year or two haven't they? Am I crazy on that one?

Is it sick that I could sooooo be talked into driving to San Diego just to scope out the banners and take in some Tin Fish or the little Italian place we dig that I cannot remember the name of. Kingsqueen???

Maybe...they used to double up Groening and company with that and the Futurama panels. No Futurama, maybe Simpsons didn't show either. And i think the WB/DC stuff will have a big draw, I just don't know if that alone is enough to make people start lining up @ 4pm on Friday. There HAS to be something besides that and Legendary in Hall H on Saturday.

Unofficial San Diego Comic Con just confirmed via Facebook...The Force Awakens...to Hall H. Now it's on like comicon

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Marching Towards Hall H; Other Star Wars Panels
http://sdccblog.com/2015/06/star-wa...rching-towards-hall-h-other-star-wars-panels/

What’s that sound in the distance? It’s the sound of an Imperial march, headed straight for Hall H.

After all the speculation about whether or not Star Wars: The Force Awakens would potentially be headed to Comic-Con this year, especially in light of Marvel Studios skipping, we’ve finally got our answer: They’re coming for you, SDCC attendees. On Friday, July 10 in Hall H.

The panel, which currently doesn’t have a time, promises that present and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and “special guests” will be on hand to provide a special look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

That’s far from the only Star Wars panel during SDCC though, as they’ll also be presenting panels on everything from publishing (Star Wars Publishing 2015, Part 2), toys (Hasbro Star Wars, Star Wars Collectibles Update), gaming (Disney Infinity 3.0), and more. Here’s a look at the full schedule:

I'd like to add, my Thursday is going to likely be officially shot. I'll hold a spot for you guys I suppose. :P

Ugh...I am NOT tying up all my time in overnight line camping. Besides, Indigo Ballroom stuff is prolly Friday, and NerdHQ...that being said...

The real caveat to all of it is how they handle lineups and wristbands. If they do it like last year, I've gotta make the try for Friday. Worst case, can't get in and I do the adult swim thing along with other stuff. Then I consider a rally and try for Saturday. If I get in on Friday, I probably skip Saturday and find things on that day. All a crapshoot my friend.

annnnnnnnnnnd the year gets even bigger.

Conan O’Brien won’t just be hosting his talkshow Conan at Comic-Con – he’ll also be hosting a Hall H panel for Lionsgate, featuring The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and The Last Witch Hunter.
The panel, which O’Brien announced on Twitter, will be on Thursday, July 9 at 12PM in Hall H.

This is a really huge year for Comic Con.
