I didn't know this show existed until about three days ago. Wow, is it good. Not for the easily offended, but wow. Only two seasons, about five hours total. Season 2 is better than Season 1, and Season 1 is fantastic. The writer and main actor, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is insanely talented both as a writer and actor. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

Ha! Welcome guys, that’s fantastic that you guys found Fleabag. I thought it was too “girly” a show to bring up here so, I did not. Glad you guys liked it/loved it. Most of the people that suggested it to me were so adamant that I HAD to watch it and YOU would love it, gave me pause and the knee-jerk reaction was to take an anti-stance, alas, they were right; bastards.

There is so much heart in that show, the minor characters especially (e.g. banker that just wants to reconnect with his wife *tears*) and the whole cast is perfection. Love that the American is the worst human on the show (and, if there is a buzzfeed quiz about Fleabag- I’m afraid he’d be the person I got) but still is someone you empathize with which is a testament to her writing.

Sidenote for Santiclaws: Maybe, I’ve been here to long or spend to much time on this board but that first scene of the show (where she questions the cavernous quality of a body part) I totally thought of you*. Dude. I know. Good or bad, you’ve left an impression. Lols.

*please forgive me if that is super creepy or if that statement is offensive it is not my intent.

Fleabag was off my radar and I didn't hear about it until it won awards at the Emmy's. I still haven't seen it though, haha. Since I am an Anglophile, and I like weird shows, you'd figure, I would've seen it by now. I will see it.

And I also missed that the last season of The Man in the High Castle came out last month. So many shows to watch! Grrrr!

God damn it.

You're Martin! You might not make the best father or husband, but you try very hard. You have a bit of an acerbic sense of humor, and you're at your most comfortable drinking or making people laugh. Underneath it all, you're not a bad person.

*sigh* Amazing. A recoil "inside" joke from a hundred years ago!? You know it angers me when someone is head-and-shoulders funnier, right? Touch?. *laughing* Winning the internet today.

Psst: got Matrin too. Think it was the animal question. But yeah not great.

Dolphin: It would be difficult to be a self-proclaimed anglophile without watching this, so whatcha doing now? Give it a spin...no pressure.

If any more encouragement is needed, Olivia Coleman is in this, and she crushes it like she does everything, playing an incredibly passive aggressive stepmother. "She's not an evil stepmother, she's just a c**t" as the protagonist puts it.
