All Things: TELEVISON

I gave up on supergirl after a few episodes. Do I need to go back and catch up then?

I would rank all the DC shows as follows: Flash, LoT, Supergirl, Arrow, Gotham (if you missed the "mid-season finale", you missed 'jumping out of a highrise with parachutes' levels of incredulity).

I'll get into Marvel movies when they make Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos.

Or DC's Sgt. Rock

i just watched the second ep of legends and man the writing and acting on that show are awful.

^ I think they just pass all the CW show writers from show to show. :) Best thing about Flash is the Multiversity potential (Tomorrow's Ep should be really good) and the best thing about LoT, even after 4 eps (we saw the fourth ep up here last night after SB50), is the time travel component.

I just recently watched the first episodes of The Flash and enjoyed it quite a bit. It has some of the Smallville cheese and feel I remember from years past but I loved the early swerve.

I'd say its may favorite of the comic shows atm. Arrow started off well but its really missing Deathstroke.

The cheese gets worse and worse (or better and better depending on your view).

but it's very enjoyable

Hannibal’s Bryan Fuller To Take Center Seat On New Star Trek TV Series

Entertainment Weekly reports that the new command will mark a return to the sci-fi franchise as both fan and professional. “My very first experience of Star Trek is my oldest brother turning off all the lights in the house and flying his model of a D7 Class Klingon Battle Cruiser through the darkened halls,” he explained. As a television writer, Fuller worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.

Calling the position a “dream come true,” Fuller will co-create the program Star Trek film reboot writer Alex Kurtzman. The series will debut on CBS, but is being developed as an original program for the network’s CBS All Access app and streaming service.

It is expected to premiere in January of 2017.

First episode of Nikki Glaser's show on Comedy Central, Not Safe, was pretty good. I worry that the format of it isn't the best and it'll end up going the way of Jeselnick's show, but... not bad so far.

Neil Gaiman’s ‘Likely Stories’ Heads to Sky Arts

The “dark and strange” London-set tales will center on the act of storytelling in a world that moves seamlessly between reality and fantasy. Gaiman will appear in each story in an “unusual way,” with subtle nods to his wider work that will appeal to his fanbase.

The four adaptations are titled “Foreign Parts,” a story of identity, ghostly tales “Feeders & Eaters” and “Closing Time” and the life-spanning story “Looking for the Girl.” Kevin Lehane will pen the first three scripts while Forsyth and Pollard will adapt “Looking for the Girl.”

She is always funny on @midnight, which was my only exposure to her. My PVR is on overload Tuesday nights, so I tape it after midnight and watch it the next night. I liked the first episode for what it was. I hear last night that they asked guys whether it's a Transformer or birth control... cash cab without cash. LOL
