All Things: TELEVISON

Hannibal is better. Are you watching Hannibal?

What is this Hannibal show you mention all of a sudden? If only you had talked it up sooner, and I hadn't made the mistake of watching the Following, which soured me on serial killers.

Today's Awake features Dr. Marvin Candle. Recording the Dome.

Starz Greenlights BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Producer Ronald D. Moore’s New Series OUTLANDER

The “Outlander” series spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one grandiose tale. It follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

I just watched the first season of The Fall, a thriller starring Gillian Anderson. Anyone else seen it? Am I in the right thread?

Gillian plays a detective in charge of an investigation to catch a serial killer, not exactly the most original premise but it's very well made and tight, being only five episodes for the first season. Some terrific acting and the characters are interesting as well. Check it out if you've got a spare five hours over the next week or two :)

Yup. Right thread as long as it's on tv. What network is it on? Or was it netflix? Not familiar with it...

We don't have the same networks as you, shows usually get bought by Swedish channels and rebroadcast but a quick Google shows that it's BBC Two. It's apparently also available on Netflix's "Watch Instantly", so feel free to have a look.

anyone still watching Falling Skies?

Between all the catch-up from the 7 months that passed, and the storylines with the.............spoiler alert....

schizophrenic son being controlled by alien, and alien baby that turns mother into psychopath.......seems a bit, er....spiraling out of control?

Hey, I just saw this thread and wanted to put in my two bits worth, most nights I watch the news, main programming would be the LA Kings, other than that I have my own life that doesn't include tv.

Anyone else watch Crossing Lines? (NBC/Sundays)...not a world beater, but it has William Fichtner(If you don't know who he is...shame). Showing on Hulu if you missed. He plays a ex-detective with issues...WELL. And the crew is a bunch of Euros trying to deal with international crimes whilst CROSSING international LINES. Its well done with good acting. Liking it. Give it a try, you might like it too.
