April 30 Star Wars Land Update:
Sorry about the picture sizes.

Sorry about the picture sizes.
The storytelling is rich and present in every last detail. Pandora is more than immersive, it’s thoughtful. This place isn’t only about the stunning scenery – which it has in droves, with different looks for day and night – this is a fictional alien world brought to life. It feels real. Pandora has a narrative that has been considered from every angle. Sure, you could breeze in only for the attractions and a glance around, but you’d be missing out on an enriching experience.
Now, imagine all these concepts but set in the Star Wars universe.
Through the miracle of Disney magic, and some hanging about and flashing 'sad face'...we were able to procure 2 fast passes for GotG: Breakout.
Long story short...
It freaking RAWKED!!!!!!!!! never went on Tower, cause I was a-scared, shouldn't have been. What a hoot.
Ok, this makes me want to go on it. I pretty much hate any rides with drops so I was always too scared to go on Tower of Terror, but Mission Breakout looks super fun.
Yes I can, and yes it does. When it started I was freaking. And it's not the drops so much. It's the rapid ascents that kinda get you. But, the rises/falls are very measured. And you don't really experience the full scale one till the very end. Three tips I can give you. Don't eat or drink beforehand...I had breakfast about 9, went on ride about 12...perfect. 2nd, grab on to something. You will still move...but it anchors you...gives you the illusion of control. Third and most important...look at everyone else. Like I said, I started to panic. But when I turned and looked at the lady next to me, who was clearly frightened...but also laughing her ass off with her kids, I surrendered and just laughed. The ride picture capture caught me totally looking over. I thanked the lady afterwards. I had such a blast. I yelled out as the ride was ending 'that was AWESOME' in my best Drax. Don't be afraid Cammy. Watch all the little kids. Let go and enjoy.
That being said, I had a panic attack later in the day on Little Mermaid, because the lap bar was pressed down way too much, it was hot and humid in the ride, and it kept getting stuck.

Dammit, man! Tower was awesome just for the line alone, and the great ride was the icing on the cake. I regret not being able to go one last time before they closed it.
Sorry to hear. Went on Tower about 10 times after they announced the closing. Never lost its charm. If its any consolation, it was anywhere from 60-120 minutes most weekend days. Did get the AP T Shirt which i thought was cool. At least they still have it at Disneyworld![]()
