All Things:THEME PARKS

Man, Winnie The Pooh ride is my jam. Love that. Especially on a hot day. It's just so zen. But yeah, it must have been kinda a secret before because the last few times it's been crazy. They still don't have an accurate count on that because 25 minutes is more like 18...but yeah, not something you want to spend a half hour in line for.

How old is the Winnie the Pooh ride? Now, I can't remember if I went on it the last time I was at Disneyland or weather it's something recent. *sigh*

Pooh is the best though! :woot:

Been every Saturday so far this year and the lines have been getting progressively worse.

That has been my experience this year. We renewed our passes at the end of September and I upgraded from the SoCal to the Deluxe with the thought that we could go Saturday evenings and it wouldn't be quite as nuts as Sundays (since SoCal and SoCal select are blocked Saturdays). However that hasn't been the case at all. At this point I feel like I'm just going through the motions and trying to get my money's worth. My wife has a Signature Pass and she is off work on M/W/F/Su, so she can take our daughter during the week when it isn't a cattle call.

WATCHING THE MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE AS AN ADULT

Me and the Q are going on V-Day. This is a priority. Never lined up for a parade b4. This one...is the exception.

I wanna see that parade too for old times sakes!! Even the music makes me feel nostalgic! :D

Maybe, I'll go to It's a Small World before, drink the water, and trip out like Lisa did in the Simpsons equivalent of said parade. I also want to see the music. ;)

It's been so long since I've seen that parade that I still had an actual liver instead of an old sock in its place.

These increases won't do anything to curb the crowds. If they really wanted to do so they would quit pussy footing around with the small increases. My Deluxe pass went up a whopping $20. Spread that out over a year of interest free payments and it is around an extra $1.15 a month or so.

I found out last weekend that, with the railroad closed until 2019, you can actually cross the tracks in New Orleans station. I never thought I'd be able to walk over there, so it was pretty cool.

Here're some links to pictures I took over there. Just the links so you all don't have to scroll through these bug images.

Unfortunately, we got there around 4:30. But the rail people said that the caboose is usually open until mid afternoon when there's enough light. Next time.....

I"m pretty sure they are gunning to get the DLRR and ROA up and running by this Summer based of everything I have read. That is why the rock-work that faces the ROA is getting done at a rapid pace.

Cannot even begin to tell you how much you HAVE to see the Electric Light Parade. Minimal dressing(digital eyes for example), it's a beautiful thing.

Went on Saturday to get one last shot of Waterworld before it is gone for good, and it's closed for "refurbishment". :cbgb: Really, it's going to be removed for Diagon Alley.
