All Things:THEME PARKS

This is just a personal bummer of a story.

So, I'm going to France for a couple of weeks in September, and a friend and I are gonna go to Disneyland Paris for a day while we're there.

One of the reasons I wanted to go was because of their takes on the rides and stuff here. Space Mountain there is a serious roller coaster with a loop and a corkscrew. Their Big Thunder Mountain is supposed to be really cool. And their Haunted Mansion is supposedly awesome.

Well, they've been refurbishing Phantom Manor since January with a planned late summer/early fall re-opening. I was hoping we might be able to catch either the opening or some soft opening/test runs. But now, they've recently announced that the refurb is getting extended all the way into 2019.

D?chirure unique.

My family and I did Disney Paris last summer for four days. Great parks and fun rides albeit a bit different. Space Mountain is very good but the Anaheim Space Mtn is the best. The Paris Thunder Mountain is the best ride in Paris Disney and the best Thunder Mountain out there. Regarding Phantom Manor it was (not sure if they are refurbing it) hands down THE CREEPIEST DISNEY RIDE I HAVE EVER DONE (never got to do Alien Encounter). It was outstanding and my family and I agreed we would never ride it again after 3 times last summer. Good luck - hope you get in it when there this year.

d?chirure is a tear or a rip.

think you’re looking for une seule larme?

Probably.

F***ing English....

It was one of the things we were most looking forward to since it was so different. I mean, we'll have a good time anyway, but that was gonna be one of the big takeaways. Here's what it looks like now.

Oh, well.

Disney’s ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ Attraction Adds Oga’s Cantina; There Will Be Booze

Hurm. That's dangerous. But, whatever. Problem is, will Disneyland park visitors want to pop in for a beer...cause it isn't a seperate park like California Adventure is. And, will it (Galaxy's Edge) be included in the Disneyland ticket, or only park hopper?

Dangerous because...?

It'll be a new land in the Disneyland park: Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Toon Town, Galaxy's Edge.

I second the Dangerous Because? sentiment. DCA and DTD already have booze, and its been fine.
And considering they won't let you leave the cantina with the booze, it will be better than DCA, where you can roam with alcohol freely.

Unless he meant it in a "Oh, s***. I'm gonna end up spending 12 hours in there dropping serious coin on a long list of overpriced beverages" kinda way.

How much would booze cost at a Disney park?

Probably enough to go with those supposed 8 dollar hotdogs at the Kings State of the Franchise shindig. :wine:

The Wine Country Trattoria upstairs patio (my new favorite spot) had some good beers for about $8.50.

Anaheim... You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... On the other hand...you'll also find Kings fans there...

That's actually not bad, I mean, with how inflated things tend to be at these places. :beerchug:

Yeah the enitire menu was pretty reasonable but it is only small plate type stuff. We had some really good paninis for $10.

Today is the last day to ride OG Jurassic Park before it's converted to Jurassic World :cbgb:

There was a Press Preview.

This place needs to be open already so I can go do all that stuff. Also, they need to never open this place because I will need to take out loans.

Star Tours Isn?t Going Anywhere When STAR WARS: Galaxy's Edge Opens

A few friends and I tag-teamed the reservations for Galaxy's Edge, and we seem to've been successful.

We have two separate reservations for early/mid June!

I was in the queue to get on the website for 45 minutes, but I was able to get reservations for June 8th and I am SOOOOOO EXCITED
