haha, I'm orig. from Colorado and lived up in Northern Cal for a few yrs so do know how it is to deal with those kind of cold temps.
Son used to play on outdoor ponds when in Colo. Broadmoor Hotel used to have a great outdoor lake that would freeze over and loved skating on that too.
