In what universe does that puck-tail thing actually enhance the game. I wouldn't even tolerate it in a video game, let alone the real thing. Bettman and Co. better realize that this is an asinine subtraction from the great game of hockey. Otherwise, TV viewership is going to tank.
I 100% agree. The only time I think that puck-tail thing could be "useful" is during a replay of the goal. When you see where it bounced or whatever. But even then, I think only the most casual of fans would think it's neat. For any regular viewers, it's such an eye-sore and nothing about it screams "I wish they'd do this more often!"
