A few weeks ago or however long it was, I was worried that Doughty coming back would change the chemistry of the team who was doing so well, but now that the team has been playing iffy, I am ready to welcome him like....

Agreed. This team needs a bit of a shakeup, rallying of the troops and offensive skill.

His return could prove perfect, time-wise. Gavrikov seems to have been struggling a bit lately, the team's offense is stale, their PP is still bad...

In a way I'd hate him to risk an injury in a 4-nations tourney, but if he really wants to play there, maybe that's for the best (as a potential boon/jumpstart to his confidence in return to the Kings' roster).
