Interesting. Had not read that yet. Cheeseman was on Kings of the Podcast commenting how they had worked with a company (in Germany I think) to get the paint right and that these were highly sought after by the Kings youth teams that want similar helmets.

Small news item (and update to something mentioned during third period of recent KOTP)...
LA Kings will not be wearing chrome helmets next season with their silver jerseys. While that was originally the idea, sounds like they didn't mesh with those sweaters as well as hoped.

FYI, it appears that all indications point to the jerseys still going on sale this Wednesday online and possibly at Staples for the Caps game. More info coming very soon.

Thanks! I am planning on getting one while at Staples on Wed if they are available. Am thinking Bjornfot or Lemieux for the back. Of course, that will solidify them as trade bait. Maybe Denault?

You may be challenged to get some players. The Kings tend to only do jerseys for a handful of players for what they sell at Staples if memory serves me right. Maybe Danault but I would not expect Tobi or Lemiuex

The color scheme is great, but the problem with those jerseys has always been that the logo looks like it was made in MS Paint by a six-year-old. The only good thing about that logo is nostalgia. Not to mention that having a crown as a logo is kinda stupid in the first place. Royalty wore crowns but their symbols have never been crowns. Stylized eagles and lions, usually. I would love to see a jersey similar to the new Finland jersey as at least as a third (in Kings colors, obviously).

Jerseys are available via NHL Shop (only Kopi and Doughty) while team LA has Kopi, Doughty, Byfield + the option to customize to any player. Both sites are the same price with free shipping. According to team LA twitter folks, their jerseys will ship in 2-4 days. Ordered mine this AM.
