Someone needs to buy Hiller a mini-slot machine with all the forwards numbers, LW, C, RW. And he just pulls the lever & whatever numbers come up is the line combinations. That’s better than what he’s doing right now with these lines. I’d say give it to him for Xmas but I don’t see him lasting that long if this continues.

My god that level of spin is Impressive. Look around the league, Mouthpiece. 30+ teams are in every game. That’s not something to celebrate. At this level it’s incredibly difficult to get blown out every night. It basically doesn’t happen unless management is tanking.

The whole point of why we’re all pissed is because there was enough talent already on the roster when Holland took over to build something better. Instead Luc installed a puppet and had him double down on what hasn’t worked and he kept a coach who hasn’t won **** and refuses to live in the reality of what the league is doing today.

All of this. If there’s ever a season when being around the playoffs is unimpressive, it’s this one. If the Kings were actually playing to the level of their hype they’d have at least a 6 pt cushion in first place. The league is competitive right now because hardly anyone is great, and one team is elite. And Kings’ stats don’t even back them up being as high up in the standings as they are now.

Well...he fits the narrative of a coach that came close but failed (Sutter).

He came (quite) close a lot of times. Surely he must be doing something right...and he has something to prove (a lot, actually).

But I see the Kings are far from the only team chasing him (IF they indeed are), so...yeah. Leafs, Oilers...

I don’t doubt Holland would be interested in hiring him, it’s more the question on if we can trust this post as a legit signal Holland is moving on from Hiller. I can’t imagine Holland wouldn’t be looking elsewhere right now. This post though speaks to more than just Hiller being on the hot seat, which anyone could write.

Yep. Mayor's Manor is one of the few orgs that I respect less than the Kings FO.

Hiller's seat is definitely warming up by the game. I am not a fan of DeBoer, but if he can win us a Cup or help us make a run I am all for it. I saw someone on this board mention Laviolette as well. We'll see what happens, but I can't imagine Holland waiting this out much longer as he was quick on the trigger in Edmonton (Tippett and Woodcroft).
