I just don’t get it. Byfield is 23 years old, has had his development derailed several times by injuries and other stuff and are finally starting to show what made him a top ranked prospect, plays 20-23 minutes per game, plays both pp and pk, is one of the fastest players in the league, is BIG, plays center which is an area of huge need for this team and are on pace for 66 points on one of the most boring, ill-coached and defensive teams in the league.
And some of you just want to trade him away as quickly as possible. I’ve followed this team for 34 years and hockey for 40 years, but maybe you’re right and I know absolutely nothing about hockey…
