I think they felt they would be playing the over-matched Flames team they just beat 8-2. Resting on their laurels for sure.

2nd period and the Kings still don't ready for this game.
 
I've switched over to the Oilers vs the Knights. 1-1 already in the first 3 minutes.

Kings are very slow tonight. Playing a very desperate Flames team.
 
Oilers just took a 2-1 and are now on the PP as well. And, of course, the Knights just score a shortie! Great game so far.

Now Draisaitl just scored on the PP! 3-2 Oil!

If the Oilers win and the Kings lose too, then this is gonna get wild in the final 8 games.
 
This just feels like one of those games where you’ve been on a roll at home in the first game on the road you’re totally dysfunctional
 
Kings making it look like the worst ice in the league. They haven’t handled the puck cleanly all night.
