Not only did the Kings lose in DC, in which I had a GREAT seat, somehow, even though I wore a face mask the entire time at the arena and on the metro, I came down with influenza A. Blaming it on the Kings poor play of late
The ONLY silver lining lately: if the Kings were scoring like they were earlier in the season, they would have won all seven of these losses.
How to fix it? In baseball, when a team goes in an offensive slump, the manager sits regulars who aren't performing. Can't really do that in hockey, though, can you? Not with this team. Maybe they need to bring up Fagemo. SOMETHING has to change to shake this team up.
Come on, Kings! Before you know it, the Kings are going to be dropped down to 5th (or 6th--Calgary is surging too) in the Pacific.
