Now that we are regressing to the mean on the road, our issues at home have us in deep trouble now.

Don’t know what the solution is, but we are close to needing a major winning streak now.
 
not a whole lot to say because i dont think anyones watching anymore but you could write an essay on the who what where and why's - todd's gotta go. and maybe blake if we're lucky.

You’ll have the same collection of weak minded softies on the ice, including a guy getting paid $8K to do nothing but help the other team. Todd isn’t the problem. Blake needs to go and we need to get some balance in the line up.

Usually you’ve got 2 scoring lines, a checking line, and a fourth line to give the others rest. Here, we’ve got one scoring line, a hybrid check/scoring second line, a hodge-podge scoring, or supposed to score line, and a decent fourth line.

I’m okay with our defense, but could use a veteran presence.

All-Star Talbot hasn’t won since being selected. When he was picked, I thought this will be a good test of his mental toughness. In classic Kings fashion, he’s faltered under the pressure. I can’t blame him though. I have to believe most of us thought he’d have a really tough season anyway.
 
Blake needs to replace Todd immediately. Players refuse to play for him anymore. Zero effort. They get paid a lot of money to play a game, and they all quit mid-game. Not watching any more games until there are drastic changes. I am disgusted with this entire roster, except for Talbot.

Todd going at least shows Blake is trying something. Whatever Todd's trying isn't and hasn't ever worked. A trade won't do anything. Players need to be woken up. Given up on Todd. Seen it happen many times. I do 100% agree that Blake should lead the line out of the office as I mentioned. If things don't go well he's handicapped this team salary wise for years and we're I think semi stuck with this roster.
 
It's not that bad. I get the gloom and doom but this is still a decent roster. Blake has made many good moves and one super horrible one with the PLD trade and contract. The Kings strength was the best top 9 in the league. But Blake bought the false narrative of "a Number 1 center is available" (tbh, many many did if you review the PLD thread) and here we are. We're still a playoff team unless Todd manages to screw that up.
I'd also still like to know why Clarke is playing unless the Kings are trying to tank Spence's value.
