***LA Kings @ Tampa Bay Lightning GDT 1/30/25 4:00pm on FanDuel***

I know you all hate Fiala, but Danault is the one who I feel is useless. He's completely replaceable in every game. We never win faceoffs, so it doesn't really matter who takes the draw, and then he's just kind of "there".
Yep, he has been kind of bad this season, much of the time. Towards the end of the 2nd there was a shift taken by the 4th line, they were playing like they belonged in a "beer league". Then Danault comes out and fans on a shot from the left faceoff circle. On the same shift he is in the defensive zone going behind the net and gave the puck away. I am sorry, but that is just awful.

I found this on twitter earlier. This is some ugly data.

Kings don't win most board battles. Kings don't get most 50/50 pucks. Yet people wonder why they aren't scoring.

Part of the problem is a mentality issue for the team. Usually, the head coach is to blame and I even blamed TMac for that horrible January-February stretch last season, but as it turned out, the real blame to shoulder on is towards the players. And it's looking to be deja vu this season for the Kings; only Hiller isn't to blame for the team's recent struggles, even though I do blame him for messing up the chemistry of Byfield, Foegele, and Jeannot on the same line together by breaking them apart and put them in different lines.

Well, the bad news is that Mikey is out for the rest of the game, but the good news is we have maybe scored

Bullcrap. They overturned it and it's back to 1-0 TB. So apparently Moverare didn't have complete control of the puck while in the O-zone before passing to QB. [L]EC biased officiating is once again pulling the rug under the Kings in their road trip. No wonder why I hate the [L]EC.
