***LA Kings vs. Ottawa Senators GDT 11/30/24 >>4:00pm<< on KCAL Ch9 (& Spanish radio)***

Missed the first period.
I was hanging upside down in a tree.

I'm going to enjoy this game more than any game I've ever seen in my life.
Not to get into personal stories but this is one worth telling. I should be dead. I fell off of a cliff today and ended up 25 ft down hanging upside down in a tree with both my dogs hanging in the tree on their leashes.
This was witnessed by five college kids, all athletes, and their equally athletic girlfriends, who formed a human chain down the mountainside and pulled me out of the tree then rescued my dogs. This happened two hours ago. If those college kids hadn't witnessed my fall I still be up there in the tree hanging upside down at least 40 ft down to the next switch back, a sheer drop into space.
I'm a little bruised and battered and scratched up but it's nothing short of a miracle I'm alive. I owe my life to those kids.
I wasn't planning on having a drink tonight. That game plan has been altered
Brother, if you need anything, let me know. I know I’m a distance away but seriously if you want to reward those kids for saving you, let me know.

LA always seems to try and look for the perfect shot while on the PP. They're now 0 for 2. The Kings need to stop fooling around in the O-zone and shoot more often.

PP is perimitized again… Can we go back to 5 forwards now? And why didn’t Byfield shoot from 12 feet away?

I think we can agree that no matter who’s out there somebody needs to shoot the puck instead of making it a passing drill

2nd period is over. Both teams traded goals as the game remains tied at 2 goals each. It looked like it was going to be a repeat of their last meeting a month ago, but fortunately, it didn't turn into a crazy goal-scoring bananza. But the Kings better regain their form and try to gain the lead back in the next 20 minutes.

Byfield tried a make-a-wish pass instead of challenging/surprising Forsberg with a clear shot from the right side with all that traffic in front. Bad angle be damned…
