Power Forward
Thanks, I have never really paid attention to him prior to this season so wasn't sure if the habit of letting the forward slip behind him was normal or not. Based on your response it sounds like it is which is very concerning. He also does a good job of screening our goalie as well which is far from ideal. The guy is 31 years old and is playing in his 13th NHL season. If he has not corrected his bad play yet, it is not going to happen.
Over the past years, one of the best things the Kings had going for them against the Oilers in the playoffs, was Mr. Cody Ceci.
I mean he was a -16 over the last 3 playoff seasons. Who would have guessed that he was not good on Defense?

Seems like a player who has to be utilized very strategically as he does have strengths (physical presence, strong the board and good at breaking up neutral zone plays) but not sure how the Kings are going to overcome holes in his fundamentals.
Truly an odd signing, given the term and price. Spence was honestly better, despite his small size.
