down 0-3, i think you let them play out. I mean, Lemeuix should a had that stick tied up on the deflection too. Right now, the bottom 6 isnt looking good at all. They're getting handily out played, and they dont have something they can look at to get themselves back in the game. They arent controlling possession. They arent tight checking. They arent playing physical. Identity has been lost right now.

He has been all season in his own zone and with turnovers. It’s amplified now. He doesn’t do enough offensively to compensate for it.
I’m not saying he won’t be a great player for the Kings in the future; but right now he shouldn’t be in the line up.

Brown is too slow to be a physical factor in these games. Lemieux has been a shadow of the player he was before the injury. Only Grundstrom has shown any effectiveness at all in being assertive with the body.

When Arvy comes back, Brown needs to go back to the 4th line with Lias at center and Grundstrom on the wing. Kaliyev needs to play with Lizotte and Lemieux again.
 
Pretty deep into the Alec (Guinness) and feel the Kings needed this game to manage their expectations and happy it is happening in game 2 in Edmonton. Keeping with the May 4th theme: It was the Empire Strikes back and not A New Hope.

But that Smith flop really gets me. I got a friend from Phoenix who hates Smith (go figure) and he sent me text

"Shoulda been embellishment on the flopper. not ur King. game swung on one call"

Kings can’t get caught trying to out muscle a team. There isn’t one that they can.

Uh...weren't we all typing that "making the playoffs was to give the kids experience"? So. Let them experience it.
 
Sorry everyone I’m going to take the positive side on this. No one expected the kings to go into Edmonton and win two games they got exactly what they wanted. Byfields lines need some changes. Draisaitls line managed to get matchups against Byfield and hopefully with the last change those advantages will be minimized at home. Like I said earlier I’m more interested in their response in the third… lay down or send a message going home. Go home stay out of the box, play five on five win two games and we’re in good shape. We are not a cup team, we all laughed at the oilers fans response the their first game. I’m not going there in our second game.
 
1. I guess Kopitar has gone on a scoring vacation? Same thing in 2017..
2. Brown needs to hit...they are killing us...
3. BYFIELD IS A TURD. OR A PROJECT..EITHER WAY THE COACH SHIUL BE CHASTISED FOR PLAYING HIM.
AND TY BLAKE..... for the attention to special teams at the deadline....they should just run regular lines on the pp..
 
Going to do something I've never done With Kings games since way back to 1980 I'm turning this mess off and going to do something more interestin. I'm outta here

Heh, I'm just hoping something I typed gets chosen for WTS thread in Edmonton but, I'm just not being that funny. I had ONE JOB (just like the Kings).
 
I don't get it. The team we saw in the 1st is not the same team in the 2nd and 3rd.
