He's 19, he's dealt with a major injury. He has 11 points in his first 46 games. There's another guy in the NHL I'm thinking of who was a high first rounder. Big guy, 6'4" 220 (Byfield is listed at 6'5" 220). He had 7 points in his first 55 games as an 18 year old. Played a full 81 game season as a 19 year old with no injuries and had a better season, less than half a point per game, but still OK. Kind of considered a bust at that time though. I don't know how Byfield is gonna end up, but that guy is about to retire with more than 1,500 career points. I don't know that Byfield will score that many points, but not sure I'm willing to cut bait on him yet.
