Oof. I may owe a gentleman from the game two thread an apology. May have typed about the merits of experiences both the highs and the lows and earning redemption. Or it could have just been a gif, things on that day have file footage missing.

We really need a Mike Richards type in a game like this, I see us using Byfield like we did with Schenn in the next year or two to acquire someone like that.

Someone that can calm everybody down in a game like this.
 
Anyone see how the Edmonton press is playing up the Kings for keeping the lights low and not giving the team nets for their practice at 'Staples'?

The team came on the ice 12 minutes early - the crew was waiting for the ice to totally get set - yet the oilers came out early - and some press dude showed a video of the Kings staff holding onto the nets, blaming the Kings of gamesmanship...

Totally understand Vilardi getting a chance tonight. They could use his skill set on that embarrassing PP. I just hope he can hang with the skating.

Kupari is perfect for this series. Hopefully he provides a spark.

Still think we need Byfield in the lineup but he also didn?t do himself any favors and Todd seems to get irked with his mistakes so?
 
STH doing the national anthems is bad ass. She did great. The arena announcer sucks. When I heard Bob on the pregame video announcing they are the Kings of the NHL from 2012, I got chills. Every time. I miss Bob. Okay. GKG
