into another, an old revelation band, are playing 10 min away from me with glassjaw in early november. not sure if i'm going yet. i never really got into glassjaw and into another is more my husband's kind of music. he's been too lazy to go to shows ever since we had the kid though.



and lol about in n out, dave. that's cool. you sound more like the straight edge friends i have now. they're all about being posi and not nearly as militant about stuff as the kids i went to high school with. i like some of the music, but i could never really hang out with the straight edgers i knew 18 years ago because they took every chance they could to point out what other people were doing wrong with themselves.

Yeah, pretty satisfied with the list but 3 Jawbreaker albums is a bit much. (I like them don't get me wrong). But having 3 of their albums and two from Promise Ring kinda seems like over kill. Drop one of those for the Far record, and seriously man, put an Appleseed Cast record up there. Low Level Owls was freaking AWESOME! It's some really beautifully crafted tuneage.

No Doubt in ANYONE'S mind what #1 was gonna be. Hell, I thought (was hoping) the Pink LP was gonna be in there as well. I seriously think this genre would have stalled in it's tracks had SDRE not dropped those nuggets back to back.

haha, ya i never got into the promise ring so those were a couple albums on that list that i don't have. i like the mineral mention. i don't hear that band talked about much at all. personally, i'm ok with the jawbreaker overkill but i agree, FAR could've taken one of the jawbreaker or promise ring spots.
 
Dear You should be taken off the list. That record is not that great. Only a handful songs are good. Bivouac is my favorite jawbreaker record ever. However, 24hrt should be the one that is on the list. I always thought if 24hrt was their major label debut, things would have turned differently for them. Instead we got a watered down, over produced record that is Dear You.

End on End by Rites if Spring is a huge influence to me, along with Can I Say by Dag Nasty. Two of favorite records ever.
