***San Jose Sharks vs. LA Kings GDT 1/11/23 >>7:00pm<< on TNT***

Good game and I was stoked to meet Edler last night after the game. Such a nice dude.

But I’m getting real tired of people walking up and down the aisles when the puck is in motion. Happened so much last night, I don’t remember it being this much. Also had to get two separate folks off my seats twice after coming back from getting food.

I am pretty much done with going to most live events in L.A. People have zero manners these days. Add in the awful "In-Arena" experience at The Crypt and it makes it easy to just stay home.

I would choose to go to a playoff game, however. Totally different atmosphere (and crowd).

I had this queued up with a few minutes to go: Tonight's TOI leader for the Kings is Sean Durzi. He's also +2 with an assist. He's played great.

Then Doughty and Mikey played pretty much the entire last 3 minutes of the game so that Drew was #1 in TOI after all with 22+ minutes. Still, I think Durzi had one of this best games. He and Byfield were visible for their improved defensive play and improved offensive play, respectively.

Got the win last night but as Doughty said, not one of the Kings best games. Gave too many chances to SJ and some just walked in and had open shots. Better teams will capitalize on those chances. Keep getting better, however, cut down the opponent's grade A chances. What I am mostly proud about lately is, the Kings are beating the teams they are supposed to beat. You can't have let downs when you see SJ or Anaheim on your schedule as those points are so valuable. Well done, so far.

Here’s the difference with the Kings this season, now they have the skill to get back into games when their effort slips a bit. That’s a literal gamechanger.

I guess I'm not the only one who's been thinking, "it's OK...we'll just score again to come back" when we fall behind?? Which is oddly like my thinking in 2012......and makes me think I'm just having episodes of wishful thinking/hopeful flashbacks, and it's not really a "thing" for the 2023 Kings.

I only watched the first two periods, but I think Byfield by far had his best game of the season. So much potential.
