Out of curiosity, may I ask why you werent "as enthused" as the rest of us?

Honestly, I feel like my general dislike of Man Of Steel is the problem. Still going to see the movie, and try to go in with an open mind as best I can.

I am pretty happy with the way Wonder Woman looks, though.

I loved the Batman v. Superman trailer. At least from the trailer, it looks like they've taken the fan reaction to Man of Steel into account and run with them. Of course, that is no guarantee that the film will fulfill those promises, but I find the approach commendable. FWIW, I don't generally feel it's in the best interest of the property to kowtow to the public, necessarily, but in this case I think the notes were good ones, and the instinct to address them is the right one.

I, a little surprisingly, love the Suicide Squad trailer as well. Of course, in addition to everything else, you have to appreciate a ballsy Bee Gee's cover song.

The Suicide Squad movie had me at Harley Quinn being in it. It also had me at Margot Robbie being it. So they have me squared. It looks great except that they should have left out the completely inhuman-looking characters, which look ridiculous. Also, Jared Leto is even less Heath Ledger than I thought he would be.

Ive watched both trailers several times now. I still have zero desire to see either in the theater.

Zoe Kravitz Couldn’t Score A ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Audition Because She Was Too ‘Urban’
http://uproxx.com/movies/2015/07/zoe-kravitz-dark-knight-rises/

Zoe Kravitz may be celebrity offspring, but that doesn’t mean she’s had an easy time landing film roles. The daughter of bona fide rock god Lenny Kravitz and the stunning Lisa Bonet sat down with Nylon magazine to promote her roles in Dope and Mad Max: Fury Road. During the interview, Kravitz revealed how she couldn’t even score an audition for The Dark Knight Rises. Producers wouldn’t let her read for the role, and the reason why may surprise you:

“In the last Batman movie, they told me that I couldn’t get an audition for a small role they were casting because they weren’t ‘going urban.’ It was like, ‘What does that have to do with anything?’ I have to play the role like, ‘Yo, what’s up, Batman? What’s going on wit chu?’ “

Zoe Kravitz, who hails from Dominican and Jewish-American ethnicity, doesn’t specifically mention which role she wanted, only that it was a minor role. She may have wished to play Catwoman’s pick-pocketing roommate, Jen. The role ended up going to the the very fair-skinned Juno Temple. With a recent uptick of scrutiny over how Hollywood treats race in the casting room, Zoe’s disclosure can only further the conversation.

During an interview with Nerdist, Morrison was asked how his graphic novel Wonder Woman: Earth One is going. While giving an update on its progress, he mentioned how he didn’t want to do the "warrior woman thing" like what the movies are doing. Morrison said: I can understand why they’re doing it, I get all that, but that’s not what [Wonder Woman creator] William Marston wanted, that’s not what he wanted at all! … You see the latest shots of Gal Gadot in the costume, and it’s all sword and shield and her snarling at the camera. Marston’s Diana was a doctor, a healer, a scientist. So I went back to those roots and just built it up again. - See more at: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Wond...aracter-Roots-72627.html#sthash.K4QgeCTX.dpuf

Man, I still cannot muster one real, solid, decent f*** about these movies.

And it's not that they look bad. They just aren't doin' anything for me.
