I was just going to say that. Affleck got huge for this movie.

Affleck looks very much the part to me in the previews - lean and cut. Was very surprised by that and made me less nervous about his involvement.

New BATMAN V SUPERMAN Rumor Teases Scoot McNairy’s Role
http://collider.com/batman-vs-superman-scoot-mcnairy-playing-jimmy-olsen/

Film reports that last year, McNairy was spotted on set wearing bright green socks, which indicates CG work. Then an individual claiming to have worked as an extra on the film said that McNairy was playing Jimmy Olsen:

Scoot is playing Jimmy Olsen, but with a bit of a twist. Jimmy was injured during the battle of Zod vs Superman. His legs where pinned under falling building rubble and that caused him to lose the legs. He now walks with the use of two prosthetic legs. He doesn’t blame Superman for it [his loss of legs]. He feels grateful that Superman saved the world.

The best part of that is that the rumor that Jimmy would be changed to Janie is not going to happen. And yeah, that was an actual rumor at one point.

Warner Bros. Reportedly Wants Ben Affleck For Three More Batman Movies
http://uproxx.com/gammasquad/2015/08/ben-affleck-three-more-standalone-batman-movies/

We already heard Ben Affleck’s contract with Warner promised him the chance to create a standalone Batman movie with Geoff Johns which Affleck can also direct. Now, Den of Geek is relaying the rumor that a private screening (within the past 24 hours) of a rough cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice went so smashingly that Warner wants Affleck to do not just one, but three standalone Batman movies. Den of Geek says the Warner bosses gave the film a standing ovation and were “so impressed with Affleck’s performance” that they’re trying to extend his contract.

“Basically, Warners are now working their movie universe around Ben’s Batman,” our source says. As far as Warner’s bosses are concerned, Affleck is considered to be the “definitive Batman” and could be the hub around which the DC movie universe will rotate in future movies.

Normally, I’m skeptical of stuff like this, but this news also comes on the same day Warner announced they’re delaying every non-Batman project they’d signed Ben Affleck to do. Live By Night and The Accountant are now pushed to 2017 and the end of 2016, respectively.

‘Suicide Squad’ Wrap Photo Features Nearly the Entire Cast

Man. That seemed like a long shoot by todays standards. Encouraging that they said they were relying on practical fx and stunts, and it would seem they actually took the time to do it right. In today's world of short shoots and long post stuff it's heartwarming to see. I have a good feeling about this and I think WB does too. This may wind up being DC's Guardians of the Galaxy.
