I know this is a long delayed response to that Hollywood Reporter(or was it Variety) editorial that basically said DC didn't know what they were doing, but I like what i am hearing. Instead of the hive mind of Marvel, they are gonna wing it and let the filmakers sort it out. As i have said before, it will certainly produce mixed results, but that is far more entertaining than the IKEA model that Marvel has turned into.

Good choice. Horror background graduated to blockbusters. I think that will help bridge the gap for what could be the most interesting and potentially disastrous of the DC biggies.

A young Kevin Costner circa Silverado-type...but almost the anti Ryan Reynolds. Sarcastic and quick, but only in a way meant to make you feel really bad about yourself. Cruel...but in an almost charming way. Oh I loves me some Guy Gardner, you can bet on that.

Lovely as always to see you with us commoners Doc...and...just to welcome you back, I gotsta disagree. If you have seen Smoking Aces or that limo flick that he did with Joe Carnehan, you have seen that Pine can disappear into a character part very nicely. And GG sure got some character. And a big plus here, outside of Star Trek, Pine has not translated well into the leading man role. He cannot carry a flick(meaning...the all important box office dollar). Very similar to Ryan Reynolds. Which, were I DC/WB, I would be VERY concerned with rebooting a failed franchise with a carbon copy of the guy who tanked with the first one. And all these rumors of Tyrese Gibson being John Stewart, that duo ain't selling a movie. Tread carefully DC/WB or you are gonna put Green Lantern completely out of the game.
