Superman v Batman/DC movies

I have really struggled with Arrow the past two seasons. Too many sidekicks.

My money is on High-Father or one of the older New Gods if they're really going to do the Darkseid thing.

Not sure how Kirby they are gonna go in. I would LOVE to see Scott Free/BigBarda(that chick who plays Sif from that tattoo show would be brilliant!).

‘Mad Max’ Mastermind George Miller Rumored To Direct ‘Green Lantern Corps’
http://uproxx.com/gammasquad/green-lantern-corps-movie-george-miller/

He's been rumored for others that didn't pan out...so, grain of salt. But, this would be a good fit...because people would actually want to see it. Something they are going to have a hard time with otherwise. I keep hearing it'll be Rayner/Stewart/Jordan...look, i better get my Guy freaking Gardner, and i better get at least a cameo from G'nort. Otherwise, Jesus hisself could direct and I couldn't give a fig.

In reading that, and scouring my usual and pretty dependable regular sites...it seems to be someone connecting the dots between the obvious...but with no substantiation. It's easy to predict WB isn't happy, but I think that them realizing they had the wrong director for Flash makes it easy for folks to start hitting the panic button. BvS is being treated as a failure. First off, underperforming to expectations, and making a considerable amount of money are two different things If WB was unhappy, that unhappy...Snyder would be gone and Justic League would be getting a major retool as we speak. But it isn't and hasn't happened. I really doubt that WB would invest even more money and more of their future in Snyder's hands just to meet a release date. As much as I love Snyder, I think that DC/WB will never get a fair shake with him in charge. There is just too much bias towards him. It's like the Shamalayan thing x10. Some of the criticism is valid...but the amount of vitriol and hatred is not. 90% of the potential audience made up their mind before seeing the movie...and that isn't good for business. Sadly, I don't see this ending well.
As an aside...as I was watching AntMan and marveling at how paper thin it was...I realized that Marvel really doesn't have the right to use the term Superhero. Their movies should be classified as Tech Enhanced guys doing the right thing. I guess that is why I was always a DC guy. Their superheroes ARE super. Even Batman, who is tech enhanced, fits the bill because of his training and dedication to gymnastics/martial arts/etc. Falcon/IronMan/Cap, even Hulk are all products of tech. Thor being the one exception. It's nitpicking sure...whatever. I am a convicted apologist. 'Due to Snyder's law I have to go door to door and alert my neighbors...'

‘Justice League’: Ben Affleck Is Now an Executive Producer on the ‘BvS’ Follow-Up
http://collider.com/ben-affleck-justice-league-executive-producer/

Look, it’s no secret that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a disappointment. Yes a worldwide gross of $864 million is a lot of money, but for a film featuring the first onscreen team-up of the two most iconic superheroes in history, in the middle of the modern superhero boom, this movie should’ve been an unqualified sensation. Instead, the box office dropped off quickly and the movie suffered a critical shellacking from reviewers.

So, with Justice League already filming so soon after BvS‘s release, and with no time to make any major creative adjustments on the Snyder-helmed follow-up, Warner Bros. has no doubt been looking for ways to ensure that Justice League performs better—or at least gets a better reception—than Batman v Superman. Elevating Affleck to executive producer status and bringing him officially onboard as a creative voice should help calm some of their fears, and will hopefully help to ensure that the storytelling choices are improved.

Ok. That other unsubstantiated stuff...didn't concern me. This however, is a little more telling. How much of this is simply pr, or giving Affleck more incentive/reward? Or is it more than a vanity thing? Is this a real sign that WB is trying to wrest some control from Snyder. If it helps to alleviate some of the negativity, I am all for it. But I wonder if this is going to go into full 'troubled' mode, with an Ed Norton like takeover.
Keep watching this space.

REPORT: DARKSEID MAY NOT BE DC FILMS' MAIN "JUSTICE LEAGUE" VILLAIN

While most of us assumed Darkseid would be the chief villain of Zack Snyder's "Justice League" movie -- since the character's iconic logo was teased in "Batman v Superman's" Knightmare sequence -- a new report suggests otherwise, positing that Steppenwolf is the primary villain for the film

Just as well since it will probably make a mockery of Darkseid. Not that I am bitter or anything.
